The founder of Obsessed Books, Simone Sessler, is a technology solutions architect, IT project manager, photographer, mother of two sons, dog parent, puzzle constructor, and book publisher. Inspired by her sons’ intense passions and the positive impact of incorporating those interests into their learning, Simone looked to publish a series of high-quality activity and word search books that include word searches, coloring sheets, and fast facts to dive deeper into a theme. Drawing inspiration from Lauren Tarshis’ beloved “I Survived” series and her son’s obsession with tornadoes when he was younger, the debut puzzle book features the captivating theme of NATURAL DISASTERS. Her sons, Luke and Colton, are critical editors of her work, tested each word search puzzle, and provided a kids’ perspective throughout the book-creating process.
